Hope Restored Through Faith, Science, and MyCatholicDoctor
As I write this, I am 37 years old and 28 weeks pregnant with our first child thanks to NaPro and My Catholic Doctor.
I am a military spouse who’s always lived in small and remote places. NaPro doctors were inaccessible to me except for My Catholic Doctor telehealth. In fact, we were moved on orders cross country this past summer at the start of my second trimester. I transferred to Dr. Robert Chasuk with no delays.
NaPro is evidence based, whole body health optimization for all women in all life stages. Though my main goal was achieving pregnancy, I also got my health back. For years I’d suffered nonspecific and seemingly undiagnosable symptoms: fatigue, slow and sticky weight gain with weight loss resistance, feeling and looking puffy. My local doctors signed off on perfect bloodwork and encouraged me to seek assisted reproduction and IVF. I was frustrated for sure, but I accepted that I wasn’t sick. I doubled down on my increasingly fastidious lifestyle habits as I searched out other options to start our family.

In addition to reclaiming boundless energy and easy weight loss, two months post-op I conceived the baby girl I now feel kicking in my belly. I am now a NaPro and My Catholic Doctor evangelist. I’m deeply grateful to My Catholic Doctor and their access to care mission. It is because of them that I am optimally healthy and that we look forward to welcoming our daughter this Christmas.
